Tree Pruning

Health and Maintenance – We offer tree pruning to maintain and improve the overall health and stability of trees, ie: removing dying, dead/diseased, or conflicting branches within the tree canopy. We may also elevate the canopy by pruning low branches up to an appropriate height from the ground.

Drop Crotch Pruning – A pruning technique used to reduce canopy reach and overall crown size when appropriate. Drop Crotch pruning should not be confused with the technique known as “topping”. “Topping” is generally not recognized as good practice. However, in certain circumstances, it may be the only option.

Utility Line Clearing – Strategic cutting of limbs to maintain an appropriate distance from utility lines and service wires. In certain instances where we are by law not allowed to do certain line clearing, we would engage the utility companies, ie: Pepco.
